Day 1: Welcome to Delhi – Where Past and Present Collide

As you enter India, you’ll experience the rhythm of a nation where each street resonates with centuries of past. Your chauffeur awaits you at the airport, equipped with a warm smile and chilled bottled water for the ride. Upon check-in at your cozy hotel, you set off on the journey to Old Delhi, a maelstrom of spices, blaring rickshaws, and chaotic bazaars. Take a vintage cycle rickshaw through Chandni Chowk, with centuries-old stores overflowing with silks, silver, and sweets. Finish your day at the imposing Jama Masjid, its red sandstone radiating sunset. Tonight, sleep in the heart of Delhi, ready to face the Himalayan foothills tomorrow.

Day 2: Rishikesh Drive – In the Arms of the Himalayas

You depart early after a sumptuous breakfast, as your private car sets off to the north. As the city dissipates and the air is fresh, the landscape changes — the flat plains gradually give rise to forest-covered hills. Afternoon brings you to Rishikesh, where the Ganges runs broad and pure beneath wooded hills.

Upon check-in, have a gentle walk across Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula, suspension bridges that swing with each step, taking you to temples, yoga ashrams, and cafes overlooking mountains. Subsequently, go down to the holy Triveni Ghat. As dusk falls, find your spot among the scores who come here for the Ganga Aarti — a imposing fire ceremony, with chanting priests, radiating lamps, and river winds that appear to sweep away your thoughts.

Day 3: Rishikesh – A Day of Soulful Slowness

Wake to the sound of birdsong and possibly take part in a morning yoga class if you’re inspired. Have breakfast and then head to the famous Beatles Ashram, where the band members used to look for inspiration and inner peace. The walls are currently covered with graffiti and spiritual paintings — a pop-culture-Himalayan-peace cocktail straight out of a dream world.

Take the rest of your day at leisure. Perhaps grab a Ganga-side café, stop by a peaceful ashram, or trek to Neer Garh Waterfall if you’re adventurous. A walk in the local markets is also recommended. This second night in Rishikesh gives you time to really soak up the stillness. Another evening Ganga Aarti is optional — once is impactful, but twice is unforgettable.

Day 4: Rishikesh to Agra  From Serenity to Splendor

Optional: Early morning visit Kunj Puri Devi Temple for a majestic sunrise Or After breakfast, it’s time to journey toward romance and royalty. Today is a long but scenic drive to Agra, the city of the Taj.

Day 5: Taj Sunrise & Drive to Jaipur  A Day of Awe

Wake up early. While the city still sleeps, you’ll walk through the Taj Mahal gates just as the dawn kisses its white domes. No photograph can do justice to the serene beauty of this experience. Stroll its gardens, listen to its heartbreaking love tale, and trail your fingers along the cool marble as your guide brings its history alive.

Breakfast, then visit the Agra Fort, a red sandstone fortress where emperors once strode the marble corridors. Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After lunch, set off to Jaipur. Along the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, a former capital of Mughal Empire and also a world heritage site of UNESCO. In the evening, Jaipur greets you in all its pink glory. The city is lively, yet dignified, and the atmosphere is celebratory. Retire to your hotel for the night.

Day 6: Jaipur Sightseeing  Royal Dreams in Pink

This morning, climb the cobblestone roads of Amber Fort, where elephants used to bear queens and kings. Stroll through mirrored corridors and ascend its battlements for panoramic views. Don’t miss Panna Meena ka Kund, a pretty stepwell close by.

In the evening, explore the fascinating history of the City Palace, which remains partially occupied by Jaipur’s royal family, and be amazed at the astronomical devices of Jantar Mantar. Enjoy the sunset at the Hawa Mahal — the honeycomb-like “Palace of Winds.” End the day exploring the bazaars of the city, full of block prints, gemstones, and hand-made treasures. Enjoy some spicy street food or a lassi before heading back for the night.

Day 7: Jaipur to Delhi  Farewell with Flavors

After breakfast, your car takes you back to Delhi. Depending on your flight time, enjoy one final food pilgrimage. The memories you’ve made, of floating lamps, royal halls, and soulful chants, will stay with you for a lifetime.
